Abstract: Ein Kochfeld weist eine Kochfeldplatte mit Randbereich und Außenrand sowie mindestens drei Sensoren im Randbereich zur Erfassung einer Gewichtsbelastung auf der Kochfeldplatte auf. Diese Sensoren sind länglich ausgebildet entlang des Umlaufs um die Kochfeldplatte, vorteilhaft schließen sie in Längsrichtung aneinander an. Sie dienen zur Erfassung einer Gewichtsbelastung und zur Abdichtung des Kochfelds gegenüber einer Arbeitsplatte, an der das Kochfeld angeordnet ist.

Das Verfahren ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass eine für die Kochzone (12) des erfassten Kochgefäßes (14) eingestellte Kochstufe (18) ermittelt und das Wrasenaufkommen auf der Basis der ermittelten Kochstufe (18) vorhergesagt wird.
