Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a coupler, antenna module and electronic device. The coupler comprises a first substrate layer and a second substrate layer located below the first substrate layer. The coupler also comprises a first coupling line located on an upper surface of the first substrate layer and a second coupling line located on a lower surface of the second substrate layer. The coupler further comprises a first ground layer located between a lower surface of the first substrate layer and an upper surface of the second substrate layer, a plurality of hole groups being formed in the first ground layer and being geometrically designed such that an electromagnetic field of the first coupling line is coupled to the second coupling line through the plurality of hole groups. In this way, PCB space and size may be saved, RF performance may be improved, and PCB cost may be reduced.

Abstract: A solid-state direct cavity combiner (DCC) transmitter system for providing megawatts of power is featured. The system includes a resonant cavity including at least one high-power output transmission line, hundreds of high-power transistors each generating an amount of RF power input directly into the resonant cavity, and a plurality of modules each including at least one pair of high-power transistors differentially driving a transmission line and a coupling loop. Each said transmission line and coupling loop extends into the resonant cavity to match an impedance of each said high-power transistors of each said module to an impedance of said resonant cavity to electromagnetically couple power into the resonant cavity to provide the megawatts of power to the high-power output transmission line.

Входные полосковые проводники, представленные суммарным, разностным и компенсационным делителями мощности, и соответствующие выходные полосковые проводники, соединенные кольцевыми мостами U-образного изгиба, выходы которых связаны с разъемами подключения излучателей, расположены на одной стороне диэлектрической подложки, размещенной в металлическом корпусе, на торцах которого выполнены разъемы суммарного, разностного, компенсационного делителей мощности и антенны подавления задних лепестков, а на поверхности - разъемы для подключения излучателей.

Abstract: A differential time delay shifter may comprise a 1-to-N switch, where N is an integer greater than 1. The switch may have a pole contact, N throw contacts, and a pole arm to selectively couple the pole contact to one of the throw contacts. One throw contacts may be a first throw contact at a first switch position, and one throw contacts may be a last throw contact at a last switch position. The shifter may further comprise one or more transmission lines, each of which is electrically connected between two of the N throw contacts. The shifter may further comprise a source configured to generate an electromagnetic signal. The source may be electrically coupled to the pole contact, to convey the signal to the pole contact. The shifter may further comprise one or more loads, a first of which is electrically coupled to the first throw contact.

Abstract: Example radar systems are presented herein. A radar system may include radiating elements configured to radiate electromagnetic energy and arranged symmetrically in a linear array. The radiating elements comprise a set of radiating doublets and a set of radiating singlets. The radar system also includes a waveguide configured to guide electromagnetic energy between each of the plurality' of radiating elements and a waveguide feed. The waveguide feed is coupled to the second side of the waveguide at a center location between a first half of the plurality of radiating elements and a second half of the plurality of radiating elements. The waveguide feed is configured to transfer electromagnetic energy between the waveguide and a component external to the waveguides. The radar system may also include a power dividing network defined by the waveguide and configured to divide the electromagnetic energy transferred by the waveguide feed based on a taper profile.
