Abstract: Systems and methods of the present disclosure enable automated roof planning using a processor. The processor receives a digital image of a roof of a structure and models each roof plane of the roof to generate a roof model. The processor determines dimensions of each roof plane based on the roof model. The processor retrieves roofing accessory data from a database, the roofing accessory data solar roofing accessory part identifiers and solar roofing accessory part performance characteristics for solar roofing accessories. The processor simulates multiple candidate roof layouts based on the dimensions of each roof plan and the solar roofing accessory parts and determines a utilization prediction for each candidate layout. Based on each utilization prediction, the processor determines a particular roof layout having selected solar roofing accessory parts, and generates a solar roof design, including a list of materials, for the particular roof layout.

Abstract: A system includes an electronic device, and an auxiliary device for charging the electronic device and facilitating hardware shutdown/reset of the electronic device when the electronic device is being charged. The system includes an input user interface (e.g., on the auxiliary device or the electronic device) configured to receive a user input for hardware shutdown/reset of the electronic device. The electronic device includes a switch between a battery and a system load, a control circuit configured to open the switch to disconnect the battery and the system load, and a charging interface configured to receive electric power signals from the auxiliary device to power the control circuit, such that hardware shutdown/reset of the electronic device is performed when the electronic device is being charged, thereby preventing unintentional hardware shutdown/reset during normal use. In some embodiments, wireless control signals are used to initiate hardware shutdown/reset on the electronic device.

In a further aspect, the first UE receives an indication of a set of resources associated with a data communication from a first device to a second device, wherein the first device and the second device are separate from the first UE, and performs RF-EH on at least part of the set of resources.

Abstract: A flyback converter to receive an input voltage and provide an output voltage is provided, and may include a transformer having a primary winding and secondary winding, a primary switch coupled to the primary winding, a synchronous rectifier device coupled to the secondary winding, and a secondary side control circuit to turn on the synchronous rectifier device by outputting a control signal at a first amplitude, subsequently modify the control signal to maintain a voltage across the synchronous rectifier device substantially constant until a predicted time that precedes a current in the synchronous rectifier device reaching substantially zero, subsequently turn off the synchronous rectifier device based on the voltage across the synchronous rectifier device reaching substantially zero, and subsequently turn on the synchronous rectifier device by outputting the control signal at a second amplitude, before the primary switch is turned on. The second amplitude is less than the first amplitude.

Predefined energy supply modes (ESM) are provided, defining how energy is to be distributed by predefined control sequences defining start-up sequences for initiating, shutdown sequences for terminating, and handover sequences for changing from a first to a second energy supply mode. In response to operator selection of activation of a specific energy supply mode is executed the predefined control sequence for start-up of, or if already operating in another mode handover to, the operator selected specific energy supply mode, or in response to operator selection of de-activation of a specific energy supply mode, the predefined shutdown sequences for terminating the operator selected specific energy supply mode.
