A computer system creates, stores, transmits, modifies, and enables users to exchange units of social currency, referred to as “social currency events” (SCEs). Each SCE represents social approval and/or disapproval of a behavior of one or more users by the same user or one or more other users. Polycrystalline diamond compacts for use in artificial joints achieve reduced corrosion and improved biocompatibility through the use of solvent metal formulations containing tin and through the control of solvent metal pore size, particularly in inner layers of the compact. Solvent metal formulations containing tin have been discovered which provide sintering ability, part strength, and grind resistance comparable to levels achieved by using CoCrMo solvent metals. It has been discovered that limiting the solvent metal pore size in the diamond layers minimizes or eliminates the occurrence of micro cracks in the solvent metal and significantly reduces the corrosion of the compact as manifested by the release of heavy metal ions from the compact. Polycrystalline diamond compacts which utilize both the solvent metal formulations containing tin and the control of pore sizes achieve significantly reduced corrosion and improved biocompatibility compared to prior art polycrystalline diamond compacts.

The present disclosure discloses a system and method for classifying Wi-Fi signals from Fourier transform samples. Generally, classifying Wi-Fi signals from Fourier transform samples includes: collecting and dividing Fourier transform samples into frequency blocks; determining the bandwidth for the Fourier transform sample; and determining whether the Fourier transform sample corresponds to a narrowband signal. Further, if a determination is made that the Fourier transform sample does not correspond to a narrowband signal, channel utilization is calculated based on a determination that the FFT sample corresponds to a Wi-Fi signal. If it is determined that the Fourier transform sample corresponds to a narrowband signal, then a determination is made that the FFT sample corresponds to a Wi-Fi signal based on certain criteria. The certain criteria may include one or more of a slope value, a number of sub-peak bins, an analysis of adjacent channels, characteristic matching, or other criteria.

Various embodiments implemented on a mobile communication device leverage the availability of multiple RATs to receive service from a combination of RATs that avoids the potential for inter-RAT coexistence interference. A mobile communication device processor may determine whether there is a likelihood of inter-RAT coexistence interference between a first RAT and a second RAT. In response to determining that there is a likelihood of interference occurring between the first RAT and the second RAT, the device processor may attempt to receive service with the first RAT and a third RAT that will not interfere with the first RAT. The device processor may monitor conditions to recognize when the likelihood of interference no longer exists between the first RAT and the second RAT, and reestablish service with the second RAT when that happens. Thus, the device processor may ensure that service is only acquired with non-interfering RATs.

Echo removal techniques are described. An echo path of the echo in a received audio signal is modelled using a first model to determine a first model estimate of the echo. The first model estimate is used to determine a first performance value according to a performance metric. The first performance value is compared with a threshold value. It is determined if the echo path can be deemed linear based on the comparison. If so, the first model estimate of the echo is used to remove the echo in the received audio signal. Otherwise, the echo path of the echo is switched to be modelled using a second model to determine a second model estimate of the echo, and the second model estimate of the echo is used to remove the echo in the received audio signal.

A logic history can be provided for every request or call instance through a distributed computing system that uniquely traces its entire path, end-to-end, in-band within the messaging for the system. The end result is a single true representation of what occurred with no post computational inference. Accordingly, unique logic history codes are not forced across the system. Rather sub-components that are logic history enabled can use codes that have meaning and applicability to itself. Unique logic history codes are not forced across the system, which in practice would be brittle. Rather each sub-component that is logic history enabled can use codes that have meaning and applicability only to itself. This allows the system to be flexible and lets sub-components change and redefine their logic and logic history traces without impacting the rest of the system.

A system and method of deauthorizing a computer-based licensed product. During the deauthorization process, an end user device transmits an encrypted character string (i.e., the Proof Of Removal Code), including a Transaction ID, to a licensing authority. A switch unit has one frame buffer pool for storing received frames and another frame buffer pool for storing large frames. The frame size in the large frame buffer pool may be optimized to the largest amount of data the switch unit that an FCoE switching is running on can support (i.e., a limitation of zone entries). Should free space be unavailable in the large frame buffer pool, or if a sequence grows bigger than can be supported, the switch unit may still continue to send response frames back to the sender. While the switch unit may store header information of the frame, the switch unit does not store the data of subsequent frames any longer. Once the sequence has been received completely, a rejection message is sent back with an appropriate error or reason code. The rejection message enables the sender to attempt a retransmission or cancel the current request altogether.

An encryption device generates non-commutative matrices A1, A2 based on private data A and prime numbers p1, p2, and operates the non-commutative matrices A1, A2 on vectors vi1, vi−12. The encryption device performs non-linear transformation to transform the vectors vi1, vi2 into bit sequences, and joins these to the bit sequences W1, W2. The encryption device repeats the operation of the non-convertible matrices and the non-linear transformation until the respective numbers of bits of the bit sequence W1 and the bit sequence W2 have reached a number of bits of a bit sequence expressing encryption target data. The basis of the monitoring method is that the target power value for a designated phase of the network alternating voltage is changed, e.g. reduced, by a predetermined first amount for a predetermined time period while the target power values for the other two phases are changed in the opposite direction, e.g. increased, by a predetermined second and/or third amount. The sum of the second and third amounts equals the first amount.

The invention provides a system and method for controlling corona discharge and arc formations during a single corona event, i.e. intra-event control. A driver circuit provides energy to the corona igniter and detects any arc formation. In response to each arc formation, the energy provided to the corona igniter is shut off for short time. The driver circuit also obtains information about the arc formations, such as timing of the first arc formation and number of occurrences. A control unit then adjusts the energy provided to the corona igniter after the shut off time and during the same corona event based on the information about the arc formations. For example, the voltage level could be reduced or the shut-off time could be increased to limit arc formations and increase the size of the corona discharge during the same corona event.
