A rail producing method and producing equipment capable of effectively reducing bending at the ends of a rail and also cut−away waste, the rail producing method being characterized by comprising the steps of cooling a hot−rolled rail to room temperature while being kept at a substantially rolled length, and then cutting it to a specified length by at least three cold sawing−off machines simultaneously. Rail producing equipment characterized by comprising a conveying bed capable of moving a rail, cooled to room temperature while being kept at a substantially rolled length, in a rolling direction and/or a direction perpendicular to the rolling direction, and at least three cold sawing−off machines juxtaposed to the conveying bed.
