The invention relates to a method for connecting a mobile terminal to a wireless communication system,
comprising the steps of
sending by a central controller (1) a master beacon (6) containing information on the time frame structure of the wireless communication system and receiving the master beacon (6) by a first mobile terminal (2).
Hereby, the method comprises the steps of generating a modified copy (7) of the received master beacon (6) by said first mobile terminal (2) and
relaying the modified copy (7) to a second mobile terminal (3) in order to synchronise the second mobile terminal (3) to the time frame structure.
The invention further relates to a wireless communication system on which the steps of the method are executed and to a mobile terminal having means for executing the steps of the method.
