The invention relates to a device for positioning a mixing pot (1), closed by a lid (2) through which a shaft (3) runs which is provided with an agitator, arranged in a cupboard, comprising at least one drive motor device integrated in a shelf platform (14), driving at least one rotating drive body (5), embodied to cooperate with a driven rotating body (4), supported by the section of the shaft (3) of the mixing pot (1) extending above the lid (2), the drive (5) and driven (4) bodies engaging to form an automatic drive head for rotating the mixing shaft (3) of the mixing pot (1), said device comprising a fork with parallel branches. Said device is characterised in that the active parts (6) of the branches which extend essentially parallel to the axis of rotation of the automatic head in the working position of the device, comprise axial stops embodied to come into contact with the circumference of the lid (2) on positioning the pot (1) in the cupboard, said branches which form an isosceles triangle with the axis of rotation of the head, are separated by a distance to create an insertion space for an arc portion of the circle of the lid (2), thus forming simultaneously a guide and a centering stop for the lid (2).
