The inventive cabinet is characterised in that it is equipped with a perforated, radiant panel (3) which is disposed close to a wall (2) and which at least partially lines said wall (2) in the vertical plane, thereby creating a buffer space (8) between the wall (2) and the panel (3). The rear surface of the aforementioned panel (3), which faces the lined wall (1), is used to support an electric heating cable (4) which is in contact with the back of the panel (3) and which winds along the length thereof. In this way, the temperature in the cabinet is maintained within a determined range at least by means of conduction. The invention is suitable for use as a storage cabinet.
