The invention relates to a fitting system (5) for a window, a door or the like, with at least one fitting element (6) and at least one actuating rod (9) which is releasably connected to the fitting element (6) and/or to at least one further actuating rod (9) via an intersection (86). It is provided that the actuating rod (9) or the respective actuating rods is or are in the form of an actuating shaft (20), and that, for transmission of torque, the intersection (86) has an axial slotted recess (23) and an axial flat web (64) engaging axially, in particular engaging axially and loosely, in the slotted recess (23).
