摘要:
PURPOSE:To provide a new liquid crystal intermediate compound suitable for producing liquid crystal materials having resonance structure between aromatic ring and acetylene through short production process at a low cost. CONSTITUTION:The objective compound of formula I [SIGMA1 and SIGMA2 are each (substituted) aromatic ring; X is F or CN; n1 and n2 are each 0 or 1], e.g. a compound of formula II. The compound of the formula I can be obtained, for example, by reaction of NaH with a compound of formula III produced from 3-methyl-1-pentyne-3-ol as starting material. Using this liquid crystal intermediate compound, other objective compounds, liquid crystal compounds and high molecular liquid crystal compounds, can be obtained.
