To this end, the mobile terminal may comprise: a wireless communication unit for performing wireless communication with another terminal; a display unit including a first area for outputting first image data received from the another terminal and a second area for outputting second image data of the mobile terminal; and a control unit for controlling the mobile terminal such that, when at least one item is selected from at least one of a first content list of the another terminal and a second content list of the mobile terminal, a content corresponding to the selected item is attached to a message which is written through at least one of the first area and the second area.
