Two or more waveform generation devices include respective modulation elements. Each of the two or more waveform generation devices has a one-to-one correspondence with one of the two or more antennas, and each of the two or more waveform generation devices generates the respective transmit waveform for a first period of time and generates an arbitrary response for a second period of time.
