The process includes detecting, from outside the information processing apparatus, a state where a second display device is connected, the second display device being different from the first display device; setting both the first display device and the second display device as display destinations, when switching the display destination from the first display device to the second display device; switching the display destination to the second display device after setting both the first display device and the second display device as display destinations; and controlling a display image according to a screen specification of the second display device.
