In accordance with some embodiments, a method may include transmitting, by a network entity, at least one physical downlink slot containing at least one physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) and at least one physical downlink control channel (PDCCH). The at least one PDCCH is associated with at least one subcarrier waveform without a cyclic prefix (CP). The at least one PDSCH is associated with at least one CP-orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) or single carrier (SC) waveform.
