For example, an apparatus may include logic and circuitry configured to cause a wireless communication station to transmit a power save mode indication to an Access Point (AP) over a first wireless communication channel; to wait over the first wireless communication channel for a waiting period subsequent to transmission of the power save mode indication; to switch to a second wireless communication channel after the waiting period; and to adjust a duration of the waiting period based on reception of one or more frames from the AP during the waiting period.
