Abstract: A wireless communication device includes a memory, and a processing circuitry coupled to the memory. The processing circuitry is to process a wake-up radio (WUR) frame transmitted by an Access Point (AP), the WUR frame comprising a medium access control (MAC) header and a frame body, the MAC header comprising a Frame Control field, an Address field, and a Type Dependent (TD) Control field, wherein the Frame Control field comprises a Type field; determine, based on a value of the Type field, that the WUR frame is a WUR Discovery frame; determine an identifier (ID) of the AP from the WUR Discovery frame; and in response to a determination that the WUR frame is a WUR Discovery frame, cause a Primary Connectivity Radio (PCR) corresponding to the wireless communication device to communicate with the AP based on the WUR Discovery frame.

Abstract: A device, a system, and a method. The device is configured to be part of a first wireless apparatus, and comprises a memory, and processing circuitry coupled to the memory and including logic to cause the first wireless apparatus to: perform a WUR Mode setup frame exchange with a Primary Connectivity Radio (PCR) of a second wireless apparatus; establish a Wake-Up Radio (WUR) Mode operation with the second wireless apparatus based on the frame exchange; transmit a Wake-Up Radio (WUR) Teardown Frame to the PCR of the second wireless apparatus, the WUR Mode Teardown frame including information to cause a teardown of the WUR Mode operation with the second wireless apparatus; and process an acknowledgment message (ACK) from the second wireless apparatus to tear down the WUR Mode operation with the second wireless apparatus.

A device may determine a wake-up frame comprising one or more fields, wherein the one or more fields indicate an action to be taken on a receiving device. The device may determine an identifier to be indicated in the wake-up frame. The device may determine a size of the identifier. The device may cause to compress the identifier forming a compressed output, wherein the identifier is compressed by applying a cyclic redundancy code (CRC) computation. The device may identify a portion of the compressed output. The device may cause to send the wake-up frame to a receiving device, wherein the wake-up frame comprises the portion of the compressed output based on the size of the identifier.

Abstract: Techniques and mechanisms to dynamically prioritize communication of a data flow based on an indication of a user's interest in a particular task. In an embodiment, data flows correspond to different respective tasks that are executed with a host operating system. An output of a human interface device indicates whether, at a particular time, a user of a computer device is interested in one particular task over another task. Where greater user interest in a first task is indicated, a first packet type corresponding to the first task is assigned a relatively high priority, as compared to a second packet type which corresponds to a second task. Based on the priority, a resource of the network interface is selectively made available (or prevented from being made available) for the communication of a given packet. In another embodiment, the resource includes a queue of the network interface.

Abstract: Methods and systems for authenticated wake-up radio frames are disclosed. In one aspect, a method includes generating a wake-up radio (WUR) integrity group key (IGTK) for authentication of WUR frames when received by a wake-up radio (WURx). The WUR IGTK may be identified via a key identifier in the WUR frame. The key identifier may be updated when the WUR IGTK is updated, facilitating WUR IGTK key updating across multiple associated stations.
