The device includes a Radio Frequency (RF) interface, and processing circuitry coupled to the RF interface, the processing circuitry to: decode a signal from a NR evolved node B (gNodeB) including an indication of one or more control resource sets (CORESETs); select a CORESET based on the indication; and determine a downlink radio link quality based on the CORESET.
