A sofa cover tailoring procedure includes the steps of (a) preparing a main cover cloth member and marking turning points of each curved lateral side of the main cover cloth with marks A;B;B1;C;D;E; b), (b) preparing two symmetrical side cover cloth members and marking turning points of the curved border line of each side cover cloth members with marks a;b;b1;c;d2;d1;e;f;g;h; and (c) stitching segment ABB1 of the main cover cloth member to segment abb1 of each side cover cloth member, then stitching segment B1C of the main cover cloth member to segment b1c of each side cover cloth member, and then stitching turning points d1 and d2 of each side cover cloth member together, and then stitching segment CD of the main cover cloth member to segment cd 1(d2) of each side cover cloth member, and then stitching segment DE of the main cover cloth member 10 to segment d1(de)e of each side cover cloth member, and then stitching segment gf of each side cover cloth member to segment gh of the respective side cover cloth member, leaving an opening in the bottom side of the cover, and then fastening an elastic band to the periphery of the opening.
