The element has a cathode, an anode, an electrolyte, a separator arranged between the anode and cathode, and a housing, which comprises a housing cup, a housing cover and a sealing element, the sealing element insulating the housing cup against the housing cover. According to the invention, the sealing element is rigidly connected to the separator.
