    摘要: A target seeking device having a gyro rotor rotating about its axis with two degrees of freedom about a central point of rotation. The device includes a detector fixed with respect to the housing of the device, an optical system by which the field of view of the device is imaged in the plane of the detector, means for producing relative motion between the field of view image and the detector, a signal evaluating circuit, means for producing precession motion of the gyro rotor, and position sensors which respond to the angular position of the gyro rotor relative to the housing. A torquer is provided for receipt of scanning signals. The signals of the position sensors are applied to the torquer through a feedback loop. An evaluation circuit is provided for producing follow-up signals from the detector signals and the position sensor signals.

    摘要: A target seeking head mounted in the dome of a missile comprises a gyro rotor including a mid-portion forming a convex calotte-shaped peripheral surface. The convex calotte-shaped peripheral surface is surrounded substantially concentrically by a concave calotte-shaped bearing surface stationary with respect to the missile. A small gap is formed between the two surfaces and pressurized gas is introduced into the gap to form a gas bearing centering the gyro in the center of curvature of the convex calotte-shaped peripheral surface thereof. A target seeking scanning device comprises an annular parabolic mirror formed at the mid-portion of the gyro and a plane mirror imaging a field of view located in infinity in the plane of a detector mounted stationary with respect to the missile.

    摘要: A stepping motor turns 45.degree. for each step in response to a digital control signal different than the signals for other step adjacent thereto. An angle sensor produces a digital position indicating signal for sectors centered about the step positions and of the same magnitude as the angle between motor steps. The position indicating signal for a sector corresponds to the digital signal of the motor step that falls within that sector. An evaluation circuit comprising a microprocessor produces an error signal when, after a predetermined elapsed time after receipt of a control signal, a corresponding position indicating signal is not received. The evaluation circuit also checks for correspondence of signal within a minimum time after receipt of a control signal, and failing to find such correspondence assumes that the motor has not performed the directed step.

    摘要: An inertial sensor arrangement comprises two electrically restrained gyros with three mutually orthogonal input axes. After A/D-conversion pick-off signals are supplied to a digital computer which forms part of the restraining loop of the gyros and provides digital output signals. The output signals are applied to a D/A-converter which supplies corresponding currents to the torquer of the gyros. Thereby integrating quantization errors are avoided. The cross-coupling behavior and gyro errors can be compensated in the computer. The inertial sensor arrangement can be measured as an entirety. The gyro parameters measured thereby are memorized in an EEPROM and are taken into account in the computer.
