The present invention is mainly intended to provide a sealing member which can be easily manufactured and which is capable of sealing with high accuracy and a method of manufacturing the sealing member, wherein the sealing member is a metallic sealing member that is arranged so as to be interposed between a first surface and a second surface which are facing each other.
