An aspect of the present disclosure is that the housing is not powder coated, or painted. The electronic device can have a display comprising an array of display elements surface mounted on a rigid printed circuit board such that the array of display elements are planar, a display element from the array of display elements is aligned with the second section such that light is transmitted through the second section and projected onto the curved major surface.
