A wireless device detects a first synchronization status based on the monitoring of a first radio link quality on a first plurality of reference signals. In response to a command received during the monitoring, of the first radio link quality on the first plurality of reference signals, the wireless device transitions from a non-power-saving mode to a power-saving mode. Based on the monitoring, while in the power-saving mode, of a second radio link quality on a second plurality of reference signals the wireless device further detects a second synchronization status.
