In the retracted rest position, a flow guide surface of the air guidance element is covered by the rear vehicle body member. In the extended operational position, the flow guide surface of the air guidance element is, at least in the longitudinal direction of the motor vehicle, displaced rearward relative to the rear vehicle body member.
