A vehicle bucket seat having a safety belt assembly in which shoulder and lap belts are mounted on a one-piece seat frame. The shoulder belt extends from a housing mounted to the seat structure between the frame and the cushion and in one embodiment the lap belts are mounted to the adjusting mechanism while in another embodiment the ends of the lap belt extend from the cushion seat.
