Abstract: A saddle or harness is worn by a user when tethered to a tree or pole to suspend the user. A knee sling is releasably attachable to the saddle or harness to extend forwardly along the user's thighs and to wrap about the user's knees such that when the user leans the wrapped knee sling into the tree or pole with knees spaced the knee sling flexes to receive the tree or pole into the space between the knees and the sling further conforms to form convex knee pockets on laterally opposite sides of the tree or pole for supporting the user's knees in straddled relation to the tree or pole. The knee sling is adjustable in length to adjust for different size trees or poles.

Abstract: A system for a marine vessel propelled by a propulsion device includes a controller operable in an automatic navigation mode in which the controller automatically controls a thrust of the propulsion device to propel the marine vessel through a body of water. A portable device is carried on an individual on the marine vessel. The controller enables a person overboard detection algorithm in response to enablement of the automatic navigation mode. The person overboard detection algorithm disables the automatic navigation mode in response to detecting a given status of the portable device.

Abstract: A rescue strap composed of an elongated strap wherein the distal ends of said strap, each include a handle. The elongated strap may be composed of two separate straps wherein each strap is adjustably coupled via a cam buckle that provides a user to adjust the length of the elongated strap. To aid in the process of adjusting the length, the rescue strap further includes a pull ring for users to easily grab the end of the strap. Additionally, the rescue strap includes a plurality of carabiners to attach the rescue strap to the SCBA shoulder straps of a downed firefighter, thus enabling the user to easily transport the downed firefighter, without risk of the downed firefighter disengaging with the rescue strap.

Abstract: A lockable connecting ring includes a first assembly and a second assembly connected to the first assembly. Two opposite ends of a rod body of the first assembly have a male linking portion and a female lockable portion, respectively. Two opposite ends of a rod body of the second assembly have a male lockable portion and a female linking portion, respectively. The male linking portion is pivotally connected to the female linking portion, and the female lockable portion is detachably connected to the male lockable portion by screwing. When the threaded connection of the lockable connecting ring is unlocked, the lockable connecting ring could be rotated along the pivotal connection to form an opening for allowing the rope to fit around the lockable connecting ring. Then, the female lockable portion is connected to the male lockable portion by screwing again to close the lockable connecting ring, which is convenient for use.
