Described are cyclic chemical compounds useful for their organoleptic properties in flavors, fragrances, colognes, perfumed articles and smoking tobaccos defined according to the structure: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is hydrogen or methyl and R.sub.2 is C.sub.4 or C.sub.5 alkyl or C.sub.3 alkenyl, specifically, the compounds having the structures: ##STR2##
