A description is given of stabilizer combinations comprisingA) at least one compound of the formula I ##STR1## in which R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 independently of one another are C.sub.1 -C.sub.12 -alkyl, C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 -alkenyl, C.sub.5 -C.sub.8 -cycloalkyl which is unsubstituted or substituted by 1 to 3 C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl-, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkoxy-, C.sub.5 -C.sub.8 -cycloalkyl or hydroxyl groups or chlorine atoms, or are C.sub.7 -C.sub.9 -phenylalkyl which is unsubstituted or substituted on the phenyl ring by 1 to 3 C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkoxy, C.sub.5 -C.sub.8 -cycloalkyl or hydroxyl groups or chlorine atoms, andR.sub.1 and R.sub.2 can additionally be hydrogen, andY is S or O, andB) at least one compound from the group of the calcium aluminum hydroxides and/or their hydrates and/orC) at least one compound from the group of the calcium aluminum hydrogen phosphites and/or their hydrates and/orD) at least one compound of the group of the aluminum hydroxides and/or their hydrates and/orE) at least one compound from the group of the calcium aluminum hydroxo (hydrogen) carbonates and/or their hydrates and/orF) at least one compound from the group of the lithium layered lattice compounds and/or their hydrates and/orG) at least one compound from the group of the titanium-containing hydrotalcites and/or their hydrateswhich are suitable for stabilizing chlorine-containing polymers, especially PVC.
