A specific silole derivative represented by Formula (1) is incorporated into an organic electroluminescent element. Thus, the element can have a high efficiency and a long life. In Formula (1), R1 and R2 each independently represent a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl, silyl, aryl, heterocyclic or alkenyl group and may be bonded with each other at the respective terminals; Ar1 and Ar2 each independently represent a substituted or unsubstituted aryl or heterocyclic group; and R3 to R10 each independently represent a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl, aryl or heterocyclic group and may be bonded with each other at the respective terminals.
