The invention concerns a hydraulic braking system for an off-road vehicle, with a brake booster which can be actuated by a brake pedal (1a) and comprises a master cylinder (1) and a hydraulic fluid reservoir. The hydraulic braking system further comprises: a first braking arrangement (VR, VL) which is coupled to a first vehicle wheel and, in a first position (5.1), can be connected to the master cylinder by an electronically controlled first valve arrangement (5) or, in a second position (5.2), can be separated therefrom; a second braking arrangement (HR, HL) which is coupled to a second vehicle wheel and, in a first position (6.1), can be connected to the master cylinder by a second valve arrangement (6) or, in a second position (6.2), can be separated therefrom; a third valve arrangement (7) which is arranged downstream of the first valve arrangement and by means of which the first braking arrangement (VR), in a first position (7.1), can be separated from a pressure accumulator (13) and an inlet side (9b) of a pump (9) or, in a second position (7.2), can be connected to the pressure accumulator (13) or the pump inlet side (9b); and a third valve arrangement (8) which is arranged downstream of the second valve arrangement (6) and by means of which the second braking arrangement, in a first position (8.1), can be separated from a pressure accumulator and the pump inlet side or, in a second position, can be connected to the pressure accumulator or pump inlet side, it being possible to connect the pump outlet side (9a) to at least one of the two braking arrangements.
