The invention relates to a mould (10) for the production of moulded bricks (11) made of cement. The mould (10) comprises a mould frame (12) arranged on a support (14) and several mould cavities (13) which are open at the top and at the bottom, whereby the mould cavities (13) are limited by the walls (15) of said mould frame (12) and the mould frame (12) can be extracted in an upward direction after production of the moulded bricks (10). The invention also relates to a moulded brick (10) which can be produced in a mould (11) of said type. According to the invention, the visible sides (32) of the moulded brick (10) can be moulded by the sides (17) of the mould walls (15), whereby at least a few sides (17) are at least partially inclined, so that the moulded brick (10) has a transversal surface which declines in the direction of the top side (18) of the mould frame (12). The moulded bricks (10) are particularly suitable for use in the construction of (garden) walls or supporting walls.
