Additionally, a clot removal device and method for removing a clot from a blood vessel may employ a tubular clot capture element for deployment in a blood vessel for surrounding a clot, such that when the clot capture element surrounds a clot and is retracted in a longitudinal direction of the blood vessel, the clot capture element is configured to exert a radially inward compression force on the clot. Further, a clot removal device and method may include a tubular clot capture element having a first internal diameter and a clot engaging element having a second external diameter. The first diameter and the second diameter may be selected to permit the clot engaging element to be rotated within the tubular clot capture element. Further still, a clot removal device and method may employ a shaft and a clot engagement element on an end of the shaft, both configured for deployment in a blood vessel. The clot removal device may also include a stabilizer configured to at least partially surround the shaft and to maintain a portion of the shaft in a non-contacting relationship with the blood vessel wall.

The response of the first winding indicates presence of the structure in the well if the receiver coil is positioned proximate the structure. The depths (or locations) of these structures are used to avoid placing receivers near these structures for EM induction surveys, such as cross-well, surface-to-wellbore, or single-wellbore induction loggings with receivers in metallic casing.

There is disclosed ultrahigh-efficiency single- and multi-junction thin-film solar cells. This disclosure is also directed to a substrate-damage-free epitaxial lift-off (ELO) process that employs adhesive-free, reliable and lightweight cold-weld bonding to a substrate, such as bonding to plastic or metal foils shaped into compound parabolic metal foil concentrators. By combining low-cost solar cell production and ultrahigh-efficiency of solar intensity-concentrated thin-film solar cells on foil substrates shaped into an integrated collector, as described herein, both lower cost of the module as well as significant cost reductions in the infrastructure is achieved.

Devices and methods for monitoring intracranial hemodynamic parameters, such as intracranial pressure, cerebral blood volume, cerebral blood flow, and cerebral perfusion pressure are disclosed. In one aspect, the devices and methods may involve receiving at least one impedance plethysmography signal. Waveforms may be extracted from the impedance plethysmography signals and used for estimating the intracranial hemodynamic parameters. Various characteristics may be determined from the waveforms to aid in the estimation of intracranial hemodynamic parameters.
