When a melted solder is positioned between the surface of the mounting plate and the induction protrusion, the induction protrusion is "wetted" with the melted solder. Therefore, the melted solder flows with the aid of its surface tension along surfaces of the induction protrusion to arrive at the arm of the lock pin and further flows along the arm of the lock pin to the back surface of the mounting plate with ease, whereby the mounting plate and the lock pin are fixed with great certainty.

A cover includes inclined bases inclined in reverse directions to those of the mating inclined bases of the connector main body and receiving slots for receiving the contact tails of the connector main body. Inclined surfaces of the inclined bases of the connector main body and the cover are curved surfaces. The first and second rows and the third and fourth rows of the contact tails are arranged in symmetry with respect to tops of the curved surfaces, respectively. The electrical connector includes at least one wave-shaped annular spring interposed between the flange and the flange urging portion and rotatable together with the coupling ring. The wave-shaped annular ring and the flange are formed in their opposed surfaces with at least one protrusion and at least one recess, respectively, which are detachably fitted with each other, thereby forming a click lock device for causing the protrusion to fall into the recesses to produce click sound when the plug connector and the receptacle connector have been fitted.

A spring locking device prevents any disconnection of connected female and male connector members of a connector. The locking device includes two pairs of bearings provided on both ends of a mounting flange of one connector member and locking members having support pins rotatably supported in the bearings. Each of the locking members is made of a springy wire and includes two parallel legs having lower ends outwardly bent, and support pins continuous to the lower ends to provide bent corners therebetween. When the locking members are mounted in the bearings, the bent corners are positioned inside of the bearings and in contact with bottoms of the bearings, and the support pins are in contact with semicircular edges of the bearings and extend therefrom out of the bearings on sides opposite to those of the legs. The locking device can prevent the support pins from removing from the bearings in a reliable manner with the aid of the particularly formed locking members without using removal preventing members.

In a process of producing the ground terminal block (7), a ground terminal block having branched connections (7a) at different locations according to requirement of a circuit to be connected is produced every time when the contacts (1) to be grounded are changed, or a ground terminal block (7) having a great number of branched connections (7a) commonly formed for requirement of various circuits is produced and then unnecessary branched connections are removed to form a ground terminal block having the branched connections only required for requirement of a specific circuit to be connected.
