A hydrophobic biodegradable material contains host material and foamer. The host material is a product by melting a mixture, which comprises polyol, polyvinyl alcohol containing water, and starch contained or not. Said polyvinyl alcohol is a hydrophobic polyvinyl alcohol. The host material in the hydrophobic biodegradable material of the present invention is a product by melting the swollen hydrophobic polyvinyl alcohol, polyol and starch that is chosen to be contained or not. The melt temperature of the obtained host material is 130-210 , which is much lower than its decomposition temperature which is 240-420 , so it may be in molten state, and in a true sense can be extrusion-granulated and foaming-molded. The resulting foamed articles, produced by the hydrophobic biodegradable material of the present invention, have good expansion ratio that is more than 45%, compressive strength which is not less than 35 Kpa, water resistance and biodegradability.

Disclosed herein is a water-soluble fully biodegradable material which is a product formed by melting a mixture containing starch, polyol, and water-containing polyvinyl alcohol, wherein the polyvinyl alcohol is hydrophilic polyvinyl alcohol and the content of the polyol is from 0.1 wt% to lower than 10 wt% based on the total weight of the mixture. The material is a product formed from a molten mixture and has a melting temperature of 130-190°C which is much lower than its decomposition temperature of 250-400°C, therefore the material can achieve molten state, and can achieve real extrusion granulation and injection molding. The injection molded product prepared from the inventive material has excellent charpy impact strength, elongation at break, and tensile yield strength, and extremely high biodegradation degree.

A injection molded article produced with the water soluble biodegradable material of the invention has excellent simple beam impact strength, tensile yield strength, elongation at break, water solubility and biodegradability.

A film article produced by blow moluding said material has excellent tensile strength at break, elongation at break and right angle tear strength, and has very high biodegradation rate.

The main body of the die comprises feed openings and a main flow channel which is located in the main body of the die and interconnects the feed opening and annular port mold. There are many feed openings, and each of them connects to one or more main flow channel. The main flow channel connected with different feed openings connects to different regions of the annular port mold. The regions distribute along the circumferential direction of the annular port mold, and the cross section of the regions is a fan link shape. The film-blowing machine includes the above die and several screw extruders. The mulching film made by the machine consists of at least two different materials which locate in the film side by side.
