The polylactic acid composition has excellent hydrolysable capability and property of being mechanically pulverized.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are biocompatible materials useful for tissue regeneration and repair, wherein the bioactive polymer may be in the form of a hydrogel, for example a thermoresponsive hydrogel. This bioactive polymer and a resulting hydrogel, may be used for the regeneration of bone tissue. Accordingly, also disclosed herein are methods of treating a bone defect in a mammal, the methods comprising administering a therapeutically effective amount of a hydrogel formed by the bioactive polymer to the mammal to treat the bone defect.

Abstract: It is an object to provide a polyester resin composition and a formed article containing the polyester resin composition that make it possible to improve thermal resistance, which is a drawback of polylactic acids, and suppress burr formation, which is a drawback of poly(3-hydroxyalkanoates). The polyester resin composition includes: a polylactic acid (A); a poly(3-hydroxyalkanoate) (B); pentaerythritol (C); and a silicate (D). In the polyester resin composition, an amount of the polylactic acid (A) is not less than 55 parts by weight and not more than 75 parts by weight, and an amount of the poly(3-hydroxyalkanoate) (B) is not less than 25 parts by weight and not more than 45 parts by weight, with respect to 100 parts by weight of a total amount of the polylactic acid (A) and the poly(3-hydroxyalkanoate) (B); an amount of the pentaerythritol (C) is not less than 0.05 parts by weight and not more than 20 parts by weight with respect to 100 parts by weight of the total amount of the polylactic acid (A) and the poly(3-hydroxyalkanoate) (B); and an amount of the silicate (D) is not less than 10 parts by weight and not more than 40 parts by weight with respect to 100 parts by weight of the total amount of the polylactic acid (A) and the poly(3-hydroxyalkanoate) (B).

Abstract: The present invention discloses a biodegradable polyester composition, wherein based on a total weight of the biodegradable polyester composition, a weight content of a cyclic ester compound having a structure shown as formula (I) is 100ppm-950ppm;
and based on the total weight of the biodegradable polyester composition, a weight content of cyclopentanone is 0.5ppm-85ppm. In the present invention, by adding the cyclic ester compound and cyclopentanone into the composition and controlling the content of the cyclic ester compound and the content of cyclopentanone in a certain range in the composition, an anti-thermal oxidative aging property of the biodegradable polyester composition can be greatly improved. Besides, after being digested with 95% ethanol at 40°C for 240 hours, a film prepared by blow molding or a part prepared by injection molding has little precipitate separating out of the surface and has an excellent surface appearance property. In addition, the lubrication degree of film during the blow molding process of the biodegradable polyester can be improved. When the velocity of film blowing is 176 Kg/h, a range of a film thickness is less than 0.2µm and a relative deviation of the film thickness is less than 1%.
