摘要: A transmission for a vehicle mainly includes a main transmission (M) and a differential gear mechanism (20). The main transmission has at least two rotating elements (11, 12; 13, 14) each set to a different gear ratio, and the differential gear mechanism has at least three elements (21, 22, 23). There are provided first input means (C-1, C-2) which selectively inputs an input rotation to two rotating elements of the main transmission, and second input means (1, 2, C-3; 1, 2, 4) which connects the two rotating elements to two elements (21, 22) of the differential gear mechanism and inputs the input rotation to the other at least one element (23). Accordingly, power transmission which transmits the input rotation to one rotating element of the main transmission through the differential gear mechanism, and power transmission which simultaneously transmits the input rotation to two rotating elements of the main transmission as different speed rotations via the differential gear mechanism can be performed by controlling the input means. The shifting with no torque escape can be performed by switching the power transmission. Further, since an intermediate gear ratio with respect to an individual gear ratio is generated by two rotating elements at a time of simultaneously transmitting power to two rotating elements, it is possible to increase a number of shift speeds by utilizing this.

摘要: A transmission for vehicle comprising a main transmission (M) and a differential mechanism (20). The main transmission comprises at least two rotary elements (11, 12; 13, 14), and the differential mechanism comprises at least three elements (21, 22, 23). The transmission for vehicle further comprises first input means (C-1, C-2) for inputting an input rotation selectively to two rotary elements of the main transmission, and second input means (1, 2, C-3; 1, 2, 4) for coupling the two elements (21, 22)of the differential mechanism with the two rotary elements and inputting an input rotation to at least one other element (23). Consequently, an input rotation can be transmitted through the differential mechanism to one rotary element of the main transmission or can be transmitted, as rotations of different speeds, through the differential mechanism to two rotary elements of the main transmission simultaneously under control of an input means thus ensuring transmission with no missing of torque through switching of power transmission. Furthermore, the number of transmission stages can be increased utilizing an intermediate gear ratio for individual gear ratios of two rotary elements being generated at the time of simultaneous power transmission to the two rotary elements.
