The geared transmission unit 1, comprises: a planetary gear set 4; an external gear 11 formed around a ring gear 8; a center gear 15 that rotates integrally with the sun gear 7; a sun gear shaft 12 that rotates integrally with the center gear 15 and the sun gear 7; a carrier shaft 13 that rotates integrally with the carrier 9; a first pinion 18 that engages with the external gear 11; a second pinion 19 that rotates integrally with the first pinion 18; a pinion shaft 20 that rotates integrally with the first pinion 18 and the second pinion 19; and a counter gear 16 that engages with the center gear 15 and the second pinion 19. The sun gear shaft 12 or the pinion shaft 20 serves as the input shaft 2, and the carrier shaft 13 serves as the output shaft 3.

Abstract: A wheel loader includes: a mechanical drive unit; a mechanical drive clutch (43, 47) controlling transmission/cutoff of a power in the mechanical drive unit; an HST pump (22) driven by an engine; a hydraulic motor (23, 24) driven by a hydraulic oil delivered from the HST pump (22); a hydraulic drive unit; a hydraulic drive clutch (54, 65) controlling transmission/cutoff of a power in the hydraulic drive unit; a load detecting unit (101) detecting an amount of a load; a vehicle speed sensor (116) detecting a vehicle speed; a switching controlling unit (102) setting a switching vehicle speed in accordance with the amount of the load; and a vehicle-body controller (100) switching between mechanical drive state and hydraulic drive state based on the switching controlling unit (102). The switching controlling unit (102) sets the switching vehicle speed at a high-speed side when the load becomes large and at a low-speed side when the load becomes small.

Abstract: A drive system is provided for an engine arrangement, which includes a gear reduction mechanism such as an epicyclic gearing including first junction element connected to an engine crankshaft, second junction element connected to an accessory pulley which is drivingly connected to an electric machine and at least one accessory, and third junction element. A free wheel is connected to a non-rotating part of the engine arrangement. In a first operating phase of the drive system, the free wheel is coupled to the third junction element and is configured such that when the third junction element exerts torque on the free wheel in one direction, the free wheel is in an engaged state and stops the rotation of the third junction element, and, when the third junction element exerts torque on the free wheel in the opposite direction, the free wheel is in a free state and allows rotation of the third junction element.

Abstract: Disclosed is a power transmitting device capable of streamlined structure and control, as well as alleviating energy loss. The device comprises a planetary gear device (30) wherein motive power of an engine (211) and a motor (60) is inputted from a first element and a second element; and a first clutch (10) that transmits, in an interruptible manner, motive power from a second shaft (4) that is linked to the second element, to a first shaft (3) that is linked to a third element and an input shaft (2), while interrupting motive power from the first shaft (3) or the input shaft (2) to the second shaft (4). It is thus possible to start the engine (211) with the motive power of the motor (60), and to drive a vehicle with the motive power of the engine (211) and the motor (60), via the first clutch (10). It is possible to switch motive power of the engine (211) and the motor (60) with motive power transmission switching by the first clutch (10), thus allowing streamlining of structure and control. It is further possible to eliminate a wet-type multi-plate clutch, thus allowing alleviating energy loss.
