The present invention relates to a tire, the tread of which comprises a rubber composition comprising at least one diene elastomer such as SBR and/or BR, a reinforcing filler such as silica and/or carbon black and more than 10 pce, preferably more than 15 pce of a hydrogenated styrene thermoplastic elastomer. Said composition, having a reduced viscosity in the crude condition, allows tire treads to be obtained having reduced rolling resistance while still maintaining good grip on wet ground.

The presence of F alkylcellulose, in particular ethylcellulose, improves the compromise between the raw-state properties of the rubber composition, such as processability, and the baked-state properties, such as the rigidity and the consistency of the rubber composition.
