摘要: A high performance, mechanically-driven reflector antenna in which small size, low attitude and wide angle scanning can be realized. The antenna comprises a main reflector (1), a sub-reflector (2), a primary radiator (3), a first circular waveguide (4) connected with the primary radiator and having a plurality of bends, a first circular waveguide rotary joint (5) connected with the first circular waveguide, a second circular waveguide (7) connected with the first circular waveguide rotary joint and having a plurality of bends, and a second circular waveguide rotary joint (8) connected with the second circular waveguide and having the direction of rotational axis different by about 90 DEG from the first circular waveguide rotary joint.

摘要: Square waveguides (9a, 10a) and square waveguides (9b, 10b) are symmetrically formed and a waveguide type polarizer (13) is installed below the level of a waveguide type polarizer (8). This provides an effect which enables installation stability to be enhanced with reduced device height without impairing electric characteristics. In addition, the symmetrical arrangement ensures superior weight balance and mechanically stabilized performance.

摘要: A reflector antenna device is configured to include a main reflector 1 that has a rectangular aperture shape 2, and a primary radiator 3 that radiates a beam having a rectangular shape similar to the aperture shape 2 of the main reflector 1 onto the main reflector 1. As the primary radiator 3, a multimode horn antenna, an active phased array antenna, or the like can be used. As a result, the degree of freedom of reflector shaping can be improved without causing reduction in efficiency.
