The metallic oxide particle-containing resin powder of the invention is resin powder in which metallic oxide particles having a UV shielding function, in which the average particle diameter of the resin powder is 0.1 µ m to 1 µ m are contained in a (meth) acrylic-based resin , the metallic oxide particles are particles that include one or two or more selected from a group of zinc oxide, titanium oxide, cerium oxide, and iron oxide, and have an average particle diameter of 0.003 µ m to 0.1 µ m, the content of the metallic oxide particles in the resin powder is 1% by mass to 80% by mass, and the metallic oxide particles are dispersed in the resin powder without being exposed on the surface of the resin powder, according to the metallic oxide particle-containing resin powder, it is possible to make the powder itself into fine particles, improve the UV absorbing performance, and improve the transparency with respect to visible light rays.
