摘要: In accordance with an aspect of the present disclosure, there is provided an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus comprise an ultrasonic probe configured to transmit an ultrasound signal to an object and receive a response signal reflected from the object, an image generator configured to create an ultrasound image of the object based on a first ultrasound signal and a first response signal and a controller configured to control transmission order and transmission intervals of the ultrasound signal and estimate a position of the ultrasonic probe based on a second ultrasound signal and a second response signal.
The ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus in accordance with embodiments of the present disclosure, the current position of the ultrasonic probe is estimated using an ultrasound signal transmitted for creation of an ultrasound image without attachment of an extra sensor, so the position of the ultrasonic probe may be estimated more economically and effectively.-

摘要: Apparatus, including an insertion tube, configured to be inserted into a body cavity and having a first lumen having a first lumen diameter and a distal opening, and a tubular channel, having a second lumen and an outer channel diameter smaller than the first lumen diameter, inserted into the first lumen. The apparatus includes a support structure, configured to be passed through a space between an inner wall of the insertion tube and an outer wall of the tubular channel to the distal opening in a folded state and to unfold, upon exit of the support structure through the distal opening, in a direction transverse to the first lumen to reach a support dimension that is greater than the first lumen diameter. A plurality of planar two-dimensional arrays of ultrasonic transducers are supported by the support structure, the arrays having transverse dimensions less than the first lumen diameter.

摘要: An ultrasonic diagnostic imaging system is described which can diagnose, treat, or monitor the cranial vasculature for obstructions such as blood clots causing ischemic stroke. The system has a headset which maintains two transducer arrays in contact with acoustic windows through the temporal bones on opposite sides of the head. The clinician is aided in properly positioning the arrays over the best acoustic windows through the bone by a signal produced by one of the arrays in response to transmission through the cranium by the other array, which passes through the temporal bones on both sides of the head. The amplitude of this through- transmission signal is detected and displayed to the clinician, either qualitatively or quantitatively, as the arrays are positioned.

The probe includes: a plurality of ultrasonic elements arranged in a two-dimensional (2D) array; a plurality of first electrical circuit boards located below the plurality of ultrasonic elements, spaced apart from one another by a predetermined distance along columns in one direction of the 2D array, and electrically connected to the plurality of ultrasonic elements; and a support frame including a plurality of slots into which the plurality of electrical circuit boards are inserted for support.
