摘要: A subscriber unit for use in a wireless network, comprising means for transmitting, when the subscriber unit is attempting to first access the wireless network, a first set of transmission bits; means for receiving a first indication indicating that the first set of transmission bits has been detected; means for transmitting, in response to the received first indication, a second set of transmission bits; means for transmitting, in response to not receiving the first indication, a third set of transmission bits wherein the third set of transmission bits is different than the first set of transmission bits; wherein the transmitter is further configured to transmit, subsequent to the transmitting of the second set of transmission bits, a fourth set of transmission bits; and means for facilitating closed loop power control with respect to the fourth set of transmission bits.

摘要: It is proposed to reduce the outlay in the case of a reception method of a mobile telephone, in particular having a RAKE receiver, for multicode reception of a signal. For this purpose, the code sums (c0+c1) and the code differences (c0-c1) are received and evaluated in such a way that they are alternately processed with a spread factor (SF), in a fashion controlled by a switching signal (s), to form intermediate signals (s'0+1; s'0-1). The useful signal bits (s'0, s'1) are recovered from these intermediate signals by a cross operation (butterfly operation).
