The packs of panels, made available cyclically at the outlet of a dividing machine and arranged side by side, are transferred to a station wherefrom they can be discharged, at the same time, either into a conventional stacking unit of the wedge and lifting platform type, or - after a 90° rotation - into a composite transport runway where said packs will be arranged either similarly side by side or after each other. Arranged laterally of said runway, there are parallel rows of suitable lifting platforms whereon suitable means will stack the packs of panels coming from said transport runway, so that panels of the same size will be stacked on each platform. Finally, means are provided to discharge the stacks of panels from the various lifting platforms and transfer said stacks to conveying and sorting means.

Method and system for stacking sheet metal parts that comprises providing a fixed frame with three positioning sensors and a movable frame comprising a vacuum gripper. Upon reception of a stack of sheet metal parts the method comprises gripping one sheet metal part, moving the movable frame in the Y-axis direction until the first and second positioning sensors detect the sheet metal part, calculating an angle "α" that corresponds to the rotation in Z-axis of the part and an overrun of the movable frame, rotating the movable frame the angle "α"; moving the movable frame in X-axis direction until the third positioning sensor detects the sheet metal part; calculating distances 'd1' and 'd2' as a difference between a predefined position for stacking the sheet metal parts and the current position of the metal sheet part; moving the movable frame the calculated distances 'd1' and 'd2' and depositing the part.

The present invention relates to an arrangement for handling of luggage of an aircraft container. The arrangement helps service staff transferring luggage items from a conveyor belt into a container device, or transferring luggage items from a container device onto a conveyor belt. The arrangement comprises a frame structure having a vertical pillar and a carrier mounted for slidable motion along said vertical pillar, means for vertically adjusting the carrier along said vertical pillar, and a table oriented horizontally and telescopically mounted onto said carrier for enabling positioning of the table in the horizontal plane, where each luggage item can easily be transferred into the container device or transferred from said container device by vertically adjusting and horizontally position the table and sliding the luggage item on the table.
