摘要： A surface-coated steel strip having improved corrosion resistance as well as a good surface appearance is disclosed. The steel strip comprises a zinc alloy layer plated on the steel strip, and a passive-state layer 0.005 to 1.0 µm thick which is applied on top of the plated zinc layer. 摘要： A method of treating copper foil for use in the production of printed circuit boards to improve the adhesion of the foil to a base material includes the steps of depositing a nodular or dendritic layer of metal such as copper or zinc onto the foil and encapsulating said nodular or dendritic layer of metal with a layer of copper. A barrier layer is deposited over said encapsulating layer of copper, the barrier layer comprising an alloy of zinc, nickel and one or more of the metals lead, selenium, tellurium, tin or arsenic, the resultant structure then being passivated.

摘要： A process for improving the wear resistance and enhancing the black color of a black or blue rhodium-plated article is disclosed. In this process the rhodium-plated article is subject to anodic electrolysis, said electrolysis being carried out in a bath comprising one or more selected ingredients with a direct current of a current density of 0.004 to 20 A/dm 2 and a bath temperature of 20 to 60°C for 3 to 60 minutes.

摘要： Apparatus is provided for the continuous production of tubing from steel strip. The formed tubing is continuously advanced along a streight-line path through polishing and buffing units to provide a smooth lustrous finish to the tubing, and through a coating chamber in which the tubing is coated with a polymer coating to prevent tarnishing of the lustrous polished surface. The finished tubing has a surface which is suitable for decorative applications such as furniture or the like.
