摘要: A temperature sensor is provided in an exhaust passage in an internal combustion engine. A delay in a response from the temperature sensor is compensated for. A change rate (ΔTs) is sequentially calculated which is an amount of change in a detected value from the temperature sensor per predetermined time. The calculated change rate is multiplied by a predetermined characteristic value to calculate a correction value. The predetermined characteristic value reflects a relationship between a sensor response delay induced temperature detection error (ERROR) and the change rate. The detected value is corrected based on the calculated correction value, thus calculating the temperature of the exhaust gas serving as a measured value.

The sensor module further comprises at least one sensor communicable in sensing communication with fluid received through the apertures.
