摘要: A compact Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system comprising a system inlet, a gas flow system and a plurality of catalyst clusters is described. The system inlet is configured to utilize heat of the cleaned exhaust to vaporize a solution of a reductant, or a precursor of a reductant, and to mix the vaporized reductant with exhaust gas to form a mixed gas. The gas flow system is configured to provide the mixed gas from the system inlet to a plurality of catalyst clusters and to provide heat from the exhaust gas to assist in vaporization of the reductant/precursor and to assist in the conversion of the precursor to the reductant. The plurality of catalyst clusters comprise SCR and ASC catalysts but can also include filter functionality.

摘要: A system for storage and dosing of ammonia, including a solid ammonia storage material capable of binding and releasing ammonia reversibly by adsorption/absorption. The system is able to release ammonia gradually according to a demand that can vary over time with intermediate periods of no ammonia demand. A main storage unit and a start-up storage unit are provided. The storage units hold ammonia storage material. At least one one-way valve is provided via which the one main storage unit is in communication with the start-up storage unit. The one-way valve prevents any back-flow of ammonia from the start-up storage unit to the main storage unit. Heating devices are arranged to heat the main storage unit and the start-up storage unit separately to generate gaseous ammonia by thermal desorption from the solid storage material. A controller controls the heating power of the main storage unit and the start-up storage unit, thereby enabling ammonia release from the start-up and/or the main storage units. A dosing valve controls ammonia flow from the storage units according to a demand.

摘要: The invention aims at provision of an engine device structured such that an attachment position of a support base (87) can be simply determined by coupling an exhaust gas outlet surface (7a) of an engine (1) and the support base (87), and it is possible to improve an assembly workability of the support base (87). The engine device of the present invention is provided with a first case (28) which removes particulate matters in exhaust gas of an engine (1), and a second case (29) which removes nitrogen oxides in the exhaust gas of the engine (1). The second case (29) is connected to the first case (28) via a urea mixing pipe (39). An exhaust gas inlet surface (34a) of the first case (28) is joined to an exhaust gas outlet surface (7a) of the engine (1), and a support base (87) firmly fixed to the engine (1) is provided. The support base (87) is partly brought into surface contact with the exhaust gas outlet surface (7a) of the engine (1).

The electronic control unit (10) is configured to evaluate NOx reducing performance of the second catalyst (6) based on a value detected by the first NOx sensor (N2) and a value detected by the second NOx sensor (N3), when an evaluation condition is satisfied.
