摘要: According to an example aspect of the present disclosure, there is provided an apparatus comprising means for applying a stationary motion noise high-pass filter to at least one chronological frame-rate stream of motion vectors, to generate a high-pass filtered stream of motion vectors, wherein the stationary motion noise high-pass filter is configured to filter out low frequency stationary motion noise that occurs in-place and in a sequence of frames for a duration of time that is larger than activity of interest, means for applying a short-term low-pass filter to the high-pass filtered stream of motion vectors to generate a low-pass and high-pass filtered stream of motion vectors, wherein the short-term low-pass filter is configured to retain short-term activity in-place, means for applying a band-pass filter to the low-pass and high-pass filtered stream of motion vectors to generate a band-pass filtered stream of motion vectors, wherein the band-pass filter is configured to distinguish short-term moving activity and means for detecting whether at least one event is present based on the low-pass and high-pass filtered stream of motion vectors and the band-pass filtered stream of motion vectors.

摘要: Planograms are used to create consistency between store locations, to provide proper shelf space allocation, to improve visual merchandising appeal, and to create product-pairing suggestions. Existing solutions do not have a way to accurately estimate the scale of magnification of the object in the shelf image, so unable to distinguish between size variants of the same product. A system and method for facilitating planogram compliance for inventory management in a retail store have been provided. The scales are calculated with use of a vector convergence technique followed by a center clustering which automatically removes outliers. Initially disclosure comprises calculation of scales and centers, then generation of region proposals using those scales and centers, Next, classification of the regions proposed and generation of similarity scores, and on the basis of similarity scores conflict resolution is performed among overlapped region proposals using non-maximal suppression.

摘要: The present invention relates to an image analysis method for providing information for supporting illness development prediction regarding a neoplasm in a human or animal body. The method includes receiving for the neoplasm first and second image data at a first and second moment in time, and deriving for a plurality of image features a first and a second image feature parameter value from the first and second image data. These feature parameter values being a quantitative representation of a respective image feature. Further, calculating an image feature difference value by calculating a difference between the first and second image feature parameter value, and based on a prediction model deriving a predictive value associated with the neoplasm for supporting treatment thereof. The prediction model includes a plurality of multiplier values associated with image features. For calculating the predictive value the method includes multiplying each image feature difference value with its associated multiplier value and combining the multiplied image feature difference values.
