This invention is characterized by the construction of a furnace, divided into three broadly differentiated phases and zones; and with independence of the means of conveyance assigned to each one, in seven different stages, two of heating in the first phase, one of rapid cooling in the second phase and two others of after cooling in the third; apart from two more, whether outside the furnace or combining an additional module, until reaching ambient temperature; with a total process time of between two hours and a half and four and a half hours, as well as with different temperatures, and whose upper limit doesn't exceed 880°C.

A heat treatment oven (1) defines a plurality of inner chambers or zones for receiving Cathode Ray Tubes stacked in two rows and vertically orientated with front faces of tubes facing one another. The oven includes heating means in the form of gas burner or electric element (3) for heating fluid medium, in this case air. The air is circulated around the Cathode Ray Tubes by means of an impeller (5). The oven includes first and second control means for varying the temperature of the fluid medium and the velocity of the fluid medium introduced.

The invention relates to a transportation system for annealing a glass container having a barrel and two extremities, said transportation system including a lath provided with at least two non-metallic inserts, the at least two non-metallic inserts being positioned such that, when a glass container is seated on said transportation system, said glass container is exclusively held by contact between said at least two non-metallic inserts and said barrel in substantially horizontal position which is fixed relative to the lath. The transportation system further includes securing means configured to reversibly firmly secure a clipping portion of said at least two non-metallic inserts into a respective slot of the lath.
