[Solution] Provided is a complex of a protein and a catalyst selected from a metal catalyst or organic catalyst. In the complex according to the present invention, the protein is a protein having a hydrophobic pocket in the three-dimensional structure thereof, and the catalyst is housed in the hydrophobic pocket so that the catalyst is not or substantially not exposed to a hydrophilic environment.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein standardisiertes Messverfahren zur Bestimmung der Photoaktivität von im sichtbaren Licht photokatalytisch wirkenden Materialien (vip-Materialien), insbesondere von vlp-Titandioxid sowie eine Messapparatur hierfür. Das vip-Material wird in der Lösung einer Testsubstanz, z.B. 4-Chlorphenol suspendiert, mit blau emittierenden Leuchtdioden (LED) belichtet und der Abbau der Testsubstanz wird über die Zeit gemessen. Die Messzelle ist so eingerichtet, dass eine Temperaturkonstanz für die LED-Belichtungsquelle und die Probe gewährleistet ist. Beispielsweise werden die LED mit maximal 50% der zulässigen Stromstärke betrieben. Das Messverfahren ist schnell und reproduzierbar durchführbar. Die Messapparatur ist kostengünstig und leicht zu transportieren

A metal compound (50) able to trap a sulfur component in exhaust gas is arranged in a flow path of the exhaust gas, a property of the metal compound (50) changing along with an increase of the amount of sulfur component trapped at the metal compound (50) is measured, and the cumulative value of the amount of SO X actually contained in the exhaust gas is calculated from the measured property. On the other hand, the assumed cumulative value of the amount of SO X , assumed to be contained in the exhaust gas when assuming that fuel or oil of a sulfur concentration assumed in advance is used, is calculated. It is judged if fuel or oil with a high sulfur concentration is being used from the actual cumulative value of the amount of SO X and the assumed cumulative value of the amount of SO X .
