    摘要: The present invention relates to a centrifugal pump for pumping of liquids containing pollutions mainly in the form of solid particles, which pump comprises a drive unit, a hydraulic unit, whereby the hydraulic unit comprises a pump housing (20) and a pump impeller (12) rotationally arranged inside the housing, the pump impeller comprising an upper (14) and a lower (16) cover disc and a number of intermediate vanes (18). The invention is characterised in that a bottom wall (22) of the pump housing, having a central inlet opening (24), is arranged with at least one spirally extending back flow affecting means (32, 34) on the side facing the lower cover disc extending parts of or full turns around the inlet opening.

    摘要: A fluid quick connector (30) includes a housing (32) and a sleeve (40) movable between first and second positions within the housing (32) upon engagement with an endform (20) inserted into the housing (32). A retainer (42) mounted on the housing (32) includes at least one radially inward extending protrusion which extends through an aperture (60) in the housing (32) into engagement with the endform (20) to latch the endform (20) in the housing (32). The sleeve (40), when in the first position, blocks extension of the protrusion through the aperture (60) in the housing (32) to allow insertion of the endform (20) in the housing. Movement of the sleeve (40) to the second position allows the retainer (42) to retract moving the protrusion through the aperture (60) in the housing (32) into engagement with the endform (20).

    摘要: A system for measuring optical detector linearity according to the present invention employs a laser source that illuminates an integrating sphere. The sphere randomizes the laser signal phase and produces a uniform intensity over the sphere output. A collimator expands the sphere output for entry into an interferometer, where the incident optical energy is amplitude modulated in a sinusoidal fashion by a linear mechanical mirror movement. Optical band filters eliminate significant harmonic content being present on a pre-detected optical signal. Sampling of the detected signal energy is performed synchronous to the mechanical mirror position to assure sinusoidal response. The sampled signals are processed to separately determine signal harmonic components attributed to detector non-linearity and multiple laser reflections within the system. The system utilizes at least two measurements at two different laser intensities. An optional third measurement of background radiance may be applied to the first two measurements to enhance accuracy.
